I simply made project templates with todoist embedded within them. In terms of the relational database feature, I discovered that I can do almost the same thing with todoist. I don't need long descriptions for 99% of my tasks - I just thought it was so cool I could do that with notion - but, in actuality, I don't really use extended descriptions for tasks very often (just for projects) Here are some discoveries I made that tipped my scales to todoist: You can't make subtasks or comments when you create a task (very frustrating to me) - you have to go back to the task to do thisĪfter some time waffling, I decided that the strengths of using todoist as a task manager (alongside notion for information and project management) beat out using notion as a task manager. Very light-weight, fast, and available everywhere Relational databases - it's great to relate my project and note databases - this keeps everything organized The extensive comment/description area for tasks - I can put 10 pictures, a database, and write a book in a task - it's so luxurious!
